May 3-31 at the Arts Council of Moore County
“TRANSFORMATIONS: Elements to Art," an exhibit featuring Jugtown Pottery, the Artists League of the Sandhills, & JLK Jewelry. Visit the Campbell House Galleries in Southern Pines, NC to see this wonderful show during the month of May. The Arts Council of Moore County is an asset to the community - take time to visit this show of select pieces and support the Arts Council! Click Here for more information. The opening reception will be Friday, May 3 from 6:00-8:00; this event is free and open to the public and is a great opportunity to visit with the artists in the show!
June 1-2 Seagrove Wood Fire NC Studio Tour
Jugtown will participate in this annual driving tour of potteries in our area who focus on wood firing as a means of producing pottery. We plan to have pots from two wood firing for this event, with new pieces in Salt Glaze, Frogskin, Ash Glazes, and various Copper Glazes. We will have special hours for this weekend; Saturday, June 1, 8:30-5:00 & Sunday, June 2, 10:00-4:00.
